Coach Joe Booher is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He received his black belt from Pedro Sauer in October 2022. BJJ has been a life-long passion for Joe. He believes that you can learn life skills from the study of BJJ and invites all to learn at Rhino Kingsport.

Joe has been teaching BJJ for over 10 years. First he was with an academy in Johnson City. However, in 2021 he chose to bring BJJ to Kingsport, where he established Rhino Kingsport Academy on East Market Street. The Academy has seen steady growth, however it has maintained a family and friends atmosphere where students learn, compete, and laugh together.
